
The fifteenth issue of the collection scientific articles „Musicological Thought of Dnipropetrovsk regionˮ is continues the series of publications, which generates the results of scientific activity from teachers and graduate students of Dnipropetrovsk Music Academy after M. Glinka. The scientific works of researchers, whose studying activities in the certain extent binding with Dnipropetrovsk region, have come also into this investigative compilation. The subjects of represented explorations postulated the process of specialized formalization of compilation’s structure into four parts a namely „Ukrainian musical culture”, „Theoretical and historical problems of musical art”, „Musical performing and pedagogy” as well as „Chronic of musical events (reviews)”. The first part „Ukrainian musical culture” analyses the many questions of domestic musical art. M.I. Varakuta and U.O. Chernenko are investigating the creativeness of Vladimir Stetsenka in aspect interpretation of the actual problem concerning choral miniature genre. N.U. Tarasova and P.V. Kamus are determining the peculiarity of Christian duality repentance and glorification based on the Liturgy of St. Ioanna Zlatousta by M. Skoryka. Attention of I.M. Prihodko and U.O. Kusa is denoted by the educationally practical view to the transformational processes of musical folklore in the aspect of contemporary Solfeggio. The second part of this compilation is opened by scientific article of R. Sludjinskas, which is dedicated to the problem concerning ancient musical style in early publications of Lithuanian people-singing folklore. O.P. Guzva and A.Y. Revutskiy are learning the style peculiarity of S.S. Prokofiev’s melody, on the material Concerts № 1 and № 2 for violin with orchestra. N.U. Tarasova and A.V. Dubina are peering into the individual incarnation of principles for new directions of choral music from the end 19th – the beginning 20th centuries, for example Liturgy of St. Ioanna Zlatousta by P. Chesnokova. Researcher I.S. Piatnitska-Poziniak is deepening in the problem of musical pronunciation, studying this question from the phenomenon of retrospection. I.M. Ryabtseva and A.U. Moroz are delineating the genre modification of cello concerts by S.S. Prokofiev into the prism of mutual enrichment between outstanding composer and famous performers-cellist. S.A. Schitova and T.A. Shvetz are touching the multiplicity of the genre synthesis in contemporary academic musical art. The part „Musical performing and pedagogy” accents the scientific attention by V.V. Hromchenko on the academic compositions for tube solo as the quintessence of compositional artistically creative identification of professional instrument. I.M. Ryabtseva and S.V. Romanovskiy are opening functions and performing particularity of horns in the First symphony by G. Maler. N.S. Zolotariova and T.O.Oliferovskiy are studying the influence of performing instrumental school to the interpretation of musical composition for example the celebrated Concert for cello with symphonic orchestra by A. Dvorak. S.A. Schitova and O.M. Ykimetz are extracting the peculiarity of new interpretation of chamber-vocal genre in the late creativeness of F. Shubert. The language of jazz in the instrumental suite of 20th century is denoted by scientific attention and investigative concentration from research views of N.U. Tarasova and B.I.Moskaliov. The genre of pianoforte transcription in the creativeness of F. List is disclosing in the explorative article of N.V. Khmel and A.S. Mykoiy. The fourth part „Chronic of musical events” proposes to the readers to meet with the wide review by V.V. Hromchenko concerning enormous celebratory concert, which was dedicated to 120th anniversary of professional specialized musical education in Dnipro. N.U. Tarasova represented the article devoted to 60th anniversary of famous composer, creator, outstanding teacher of Dnipropetrovsk academy of music named M. Glinka, Honored art worker of Ukraine by V.M.
